Sales Associate - Full Time & Part Time

 Walnut Grove Computers (since 1995) is looking for a Full Time Inside and Outside sales person to work in our Walnut Grove - Langley store.
Duties to include;
-assisting walk in customers
-assisting customers via telephone and email
-assisting small business and corporate customers,
-strive to exceed personal and store sales targets
-to give customers outstanding service
-to cold call and visit small business

-previous retail sales experience an asset
-previous corporate account management experience an asset
-strong knowledge of computers and computer related products
-ability to maintain long term relationships with customers
-passionate about computers and computer related products
-willing to work retail hours, and at times work longer hours when needed.

  • Compensation: $13 and up, depending on experience.

Service Technician - Full Time

 Walnut Grove Computers (an A+ certified computer business) is looking for a Technical Support Representative (A+ certified) who is familiar with computer hardware and operating systems. This position's core requirement is to clearly communicate by phone and email to provide technical support and return assistance to customers. The ideal candidate will have related experience working in technical support. Successful candidate MUST BE A+ certified, disciplined, have strong English communications skills, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

- Provide technical support to customers
- Test, repair and/or replace computer systems, servers, networks and related peripherals

- MUST BE A+ certified (non A+ will not be considered)
- Familiar with computer hardware, operating systems, and manufacturer's tools used for testing and troubleshooting hardware
- Accurate record keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to run tests and troubleshoot on computer hardware, networks and software
- Must have 1 to 3 years of computer hardware, service and repair experience
- Must have good customer service skills
- Must have hands-on PC repair background
- Able to speak and write English fluently
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, MAC OS and MS Office Programs
- Should be able to work mandatory overtime if required; must be flexible to work to task completion beyond normal business hours
- High school or equivalency required. College degree in related field preferred
